Welcome to Tiny Acorns Nursery!

We are a family-run day nursery located in the picturesque village of Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire, set within the spacious grounds of the local primary school. The nursery has its own large, private gardens for the children to play in, as well as the use of the school's grounds for nature trails - particularly good for when we are learning about mini beasts and animals (they have a butterfly farm and sheep and cows in the adjacent field!).

The nursery opened in 2009 following a total refurbishment of the site, resulting in a fresh, bright and welcoming environment. We have grown rapidly during the next two years, reaching capacity in 2011. In 2012 we have expanded the nursery from a 38 place nursery to a 60 place nursery after the recent addition of a brand new 0-2 year building. You can see photos of all the rooms and the garden area in the photo gallery.

We cover a wide range of activities in order to deliver the full Early Years curriculum - see 'Our Childcare' and 'Nursery Facts' for more details. Outside there is lots of fun play equipment plus a sand pit and some planters for the children to try their hand at gardening! We try to provide both indoor and outdoor experiences every day, whatever the weather!

We offer full time care from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year, and strive to provide a homely and stimulating environment for your child to learn and play in, cared for by a team of experienced and qualified nursery staff.

Our nursery website is designed to give you an introduction to the childcare we offer, but there is nothing better than coming to see us in action and meeting our nursery team. Please call us to book an appointment for a show around whenever it is convenient!

We hope you enjoy visiting the site.
